DR. VIRENDRA MAHATMA, widely recognized for his DISTINGUISHED SOCIAL SERVICE, served as the DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF THE DISTRICT AYURVEDA HOSPITAL, RAJSAMAND. He completed his early education in Rajsamand and later obtained his B.A.M.S. DEGREE FROM MADAN MOHAN MALVIYA AYURVED COLLEGE, UDAIPUR.

SON OF DOCTOR AND VAIDYA SAPTALAL AND SMT. CHANDRAKALA, DR. VIRENDRA MAHATMA inherited several qualities from his parents, including a deep commitment to SOCIAL SERVICE. He is a member of the DISTRICT-LEVEL EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE and serves as the DISTRICT SPOKESPERSON OF LOK ADHIKAR MANCH, a non-political organization dedicated to creating awareness about public rights, government accountability, patriotism, and respect for all religions.

DR. VIRENDRA MAHATMA became a member of MAHAVEER INTERNATIONAL, RAJSAMAND, in 1998 and served as its PRESIDENT FROM 2012 TO 2014. He is credited with successfully completing several impactful social initiatives. In a major HANDICAPPED AND DISABLED CAMP IN 2012, over 500 needy individuals were provided with tricycles, wheelchairs, spectacles, as well as railway and bus passes. He also played a key role in securing an AMBULANCE DONATION for the organization.

Another notable achievement was organizing a FREE EYE CAMP, where approximately 1000 operations were performed. His other successful initiatives include the PLANTATION AND PROTECTION OF HUNDREDS OF TREES, distribution of books and uniforms to students, blankets for the needy, baby kits for children, organization of animal care camps, blood donation drives, and MULTIPLE MASS SOCIAL RELIEF CAMPS.

DR. VIRENDRA MAHATMA is a founding member of Akhil Bhartiya Jain Swetambar Mahatma Mahasabha and played a pivotal role in the FRAMING OF ITS CONSTITUTION. He was elected PRESIDENT UNOPPOSED FROM 2016 TO 2019, demonstrating strong trust and leadership within the community.

He established a robust organizational structure by forming a NATIONAL EXECUTIVE, uniting the community across the country, and implementing a DECENTRALIZED ZONAL AND BRANCH SYSTEM with clearly defined responsibilities. DR. VIRENDRA MAHATMA actively inspired branches to undertake impactful SOCIAL SERVICE INITIATIVES.

He organized CHINTAN SHIVIRS, made thoughtful decisions, and successfully prevented divisions within the Samaj. He encouraged YOUTH AND FAMILIES to actively participate in community service and consistently advocated for the ERADICATION OF SOCIAL EVILS.

He also organized events to honor BRIGHT STUDENTS, TAPASVIS, AND DONORS, and motivated widespread participation in BLOOD DONATION AND TREE PLANTATION PROGRAMMES. His efforts in CONFLICT RESOLUTION and support for WIDOW REMARRIAGE remain particularly noteworthy, reflecting his enduring impact through NATIONAL-LEVEL COMMUNITY LEADERSHIP.

He is also a also FOUNDING MEMBER OF SHRIKRISHNA GAUSHALA, MADRI, where he serves as CULTURAL SECRETARY, offering commendable contributions in the field of CULTURAL AND SOCIAL SERVICE. He also serves as the CULTURAL SECRETARY OF SHIV MANDIR RAMESHWAR MAHADEV SAMITI, successfully organizing fairs, GAIR NRITYA, and tree plantation initiatives, reflecting his CONTINUOUS CULTURAL SERVICE.

For over 30 YEARS, he has been an active member of the INDIAN RED CROSS SOCIETY, organizing impactful initiatives such as BLOOD DONATION CAMPS. He served as SECRETARY OF SUKHANTIT KI PIDI, RAJSAMAND, for 16 years, where he organized regular events like BHAIRAV BHAKTI SANDHYA, and led the RENOVATION OF THE PIDI into a well-developed community space. He is also a member of the CONSTRUCTION COMMITTEE OF DAYAL SHAH KILA, one of Mewar’s renowned pilgrimage centers, where he facilitated donations worth CRORES OF RUPEES.

Through his dedicated efforts, key institutions such as the OFFICE OF THE DISTRICT AYURVED OFFICER, RAJSAMAND, a FULLY EQUIPPED AYURVED HOSPITAL IN PIPANTARI, and the MAHAVEER INTERNATIONAL BUILDING, RAJSAMAND, were established—marking MAJOR INSTITUTIONAL DEVELOPMENT in the region.

He is also a FOUNDING MEMBER OF NAU-CHOUKI TAIRAKI SANGH and has been actively involved for over a decade, helping a large number of individuals learn swimming. An experienced trainer, he conducts REGULAR YOGA CLASSES AT NAU-CHOUKI PAL. For ten years, he served as the PRESIDENT OF AYURVED WELFARE SOCIETY, RAJSAMAND. As an EX-DEPUTY DIRECTOR OF AYURVEDA, GOVERNMENT OF INDIA, he led and managed multiple GOVERNMENT AYURVEDA HOSPITALS across the district.
